Second Hand Dealers / Nearly New

Posted by Buster Moove 7/24/2010 10:24:29 PM
  •  Hello

I have just moved to Sydney from the UK, and am now looking to buy a new motor.  I've been researching prices as new through the manufacturer's websites and compared these to prices on carsales.com.au

Can anyone help?  From experience, and in general terms how much movement is there in advertised prices over here? I'm happy to haggle but need to know where to start the battle!

Any help greatly appreciated!  Let me know if you're a dealer or not if you post a reply :-)

      • Hey

The best place to start would be www.redbook.com.au

You can run some searches on there on the particular types of vehicles you are looking for and get pretty accurate estimates on what vehicles are worth. It works much better for second hand vehicles but it will give you a good base to start with on what the vehicles are actually worth

        Cheers

        Dan
